Inviting & Managing Members
SwiftLingo makes it easy to collaborate with your team by allowing you to invite members to your organization and assign them specific roles. This ensures that team members have the appropriate level of access to manage your website translations.

Understanding Roles
There are two primary roles available for members within your organization. The table below provides a clear overview of the permissions for each role:
| Feature / Action | Member | Admin |
|---|---|---|
| Manage Translations | ✅ | ✅ |
| View Site Configuration | ✅ | ✅ |
| Change Site Configuration | ❌ | ✅ |
| Add or Delete Websites | ❌ | ✅ |
| Invite & Manage Members | ❌ | ✅ |
| Manage Billing & Subscription | ❌ | ✅ |
Role Descriptions
Admin: Admins have the highest level of access and can manage all aspects of the organization, including billing, members, and all website settings.
Member: Members have permissions focused on the day-to-day tasks of translation management. They can view and edit translations but cannot alter core organization or billing settings.
How to Invite a New Member
Only Admins can invite new members to an organization.
Step 1: Navigate to the Organization Page
From your dashboard, go to the “Organization” or “Team” section.
Step 2: Click “Invite Member”
Look for the “Invite Member” button. This will open a dialog where you can enter the details of the person you want to invite.
Step 3: Fill in the Details
- Email Address: Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
- Role: Select either “Admin” or “Member” from the dropdown menu.
Step 4: Send the Invitation

Managing Existing Members
From the organization settings page, Admins can see a list of all current members and any pending invitations.
- Changing a Member’s Role: You can change a member’s role at any time by clicking the edit icon next to their name and selecting a new role.
- Removing a Member: To revoke a user’s access to your organization, simply click the “Remove” or delete icon next to their name. They will immediately lose access to your organization and all associated websites.
- Resending or Canceling an Invitation: If an invitation has not yet been accepted, you can choose to resend the invitation email or cancel it entirely.
